An innovative farming system
Located in the heart of the desert in Meraguen area, in the suburbs of Adrar, the DZIRAPONIC aquaculture farm has adopted a biofloc system inspired by the most efficient techniques in environmental matters.
Our Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) uses over 90% recirculation of water, helping to optimize production without affecting available water resources. Thus, less than 10% of the water used comes directly from groundwater.
The water used is entirely treated by settling filters. These filters retain the sediments secreted by the shrimps to then be treated by a system specially designed for this purpose. Thus, the company ensures the lowest possible impact on the environment and rigorous compliance with all applicable standards.
PREMIUM QUALITY SPRING WATER
The DZIRAPONIC Aquaculture Farm uses high quality spring water from groundwater. This underground water is protected from any external contamination. In addition, its cool and constant temperature throughout the year facilitates shrimp farming by contributing to their well-being, as they find an environment comparable to their natural environment.
This situation allows us to offer the shrimp exceptional farming conditions, which prevents the use of therapeutic products.
